MOT (Ministry of Transport Annual Test) done, Oil change, Filters and Full Service done. I discussed the Cam Belt, we are nearly there on Miles, there on Time, is that borrowed time? So now the Cam Belt is new too.
It is funny how once you know the tension goes up so I 'took it easy' on a trip down to Milford on Sea.
We spent a long weekend, the one after Easter, you must remember it, it was fabulous weather, yes you must remember it, that was this years Summer.

We have come from the Tent world via Caravans to Campingcar.
Well I wrote an article for MMM some years ago with all the ins and outs of Solar and Wind. I may copy it on here it remains my intellectual property. Then you may quote from it at will if you wish.
Briefly I bought it prior to having Solar power nearly 10 years ago. At that time breaks were in the UK and had to be taken when time off was booked. I noted for several years that whilst the sun often did not show in the UK the wind blew even when the sun shone and at night too of course.
It produces around 5Amps in a reasonable breeze and 16 Amps in a gale. It is virtually noiseless, very little vibration when mounted on the van.
Economy wise of course like Solar the outlay is quite high, from then on all power is free. This causes me more annoyance with the trend for sites that have 'lectric laid on and you have tp pay for it even when you do not use it.
Of late I have used it less as we take breaks according to the weather and spend time in France, here we have a vast surplus of power from the Solar Panel and it is not worth erecting the Wind Genny. Despite this I always have it ready for the times when there is less power from the sun.
As part of a power package to be independent of mains supply I would recommend it. Maybe depending upon personal needs as a second to a 5 to 6 Amp Solar Panel
